The announcement was made at the NSW Masonry Contractors Association annual awards night towards the end of 2006.  The project was judged as “Overall Winner 2006” for the “Parramatta Campus Building, University of Western Sydney”. This year the Masonry Contractors Association (MCA) saw around 50 entries in 6 different categories. The winning project was built by prominent Sydney bricklaying company E Masonry, who used Aalborg Bricklayers© White to highlight the colour of the clay bricks and give the building an aesthetic look. Bricklayers© White Cement, supplied by distributors MJ Rowles was selected as the cement of choice because of its extended working time, easier clean up and no requirement for plasticizers or other additives. This is the second year in a row that Aalborg Bricklayers© White Cement has been part of a winning project in the annual MCA “Excellence in Brick and Block Awards”.
